    Yep!

Turned the thing on and off and it went away, but I've done it to myself a few times now and am sick of having to turn the computer off/on to fix it.

    Hopefully someone has the answer!

Maybe the 'home' button is stuck down or something, so that whenever you type a letter the cursor goes to the beginning of the line, making everything backwards. thats all i can suggest other than a virus!

    Na, it's not virus/malware related.

It's happenning to a lot of same brand laptops (Lenovo T60/X60)

Oh.. by the way.. hello Chris! :)

hmm, to narrow the issue I'd try to find a USB keyboard, if it stops doing it then I'd say the laptop or keyboard is to blame (assuming it is a lappy?)

Cheers for that Dan - I couldn't quite find "left to right" on the menu in IE, but at least know where to look now.

There must be some shortcut I've hit to make it happen... [:s]

If you are using internet explorer 7 you need to press "alt" on the key board to bring up the menu, then go to view then encoding then left - to - right document, dont know if that helps at all.

    cheers
