It's only June, which means it's high time to get the car fettled for the next pilgrimage. Dates? 16th - 20th August 2012.

If you've got a VAG car and you want to play on the World's best racetrack with a bunch of like minded types - and get some cautionary guidance to help you get the best out of it - then read in here.

At Club GTI, we're big on history. Our history goes in parallel with the success of the GTI, so it's nice to dip into that history once in a while and enjoy the foundations we have.

Check out the Club GTI youtube account for more.

Or rallying, touring car racing, sprinting... you name it.

At Club GTI, it's always been about enjoying driving or enjoying seeing the cars being driven. Some people take it to extremes, but this sort of general-tearing-about stuff, it rather floats our boat. With the Polo WRC in a phase of intense R&D, we're not going to be short of inspirational material any time soon. Tuck in.

Check out more video on the Club GTI Youtube account here.

Club GTI has regular regional Club meets throughout the UK, offering members a social chance to meet, talk GTIs and all the like! Parts swapping usually! Various organise activities such as karting, BBQs and rolling road sessions!

Please see our Regional forum sections for more information here.

Are you looking to arrange a region or have a regular meet you'd like to invite members to? Get in touch with us here.

At Club GTI, you will find VAG motorsport knowledge and enthusiasm that is second to none, Worldwide.

There is no single other Club, community and forum which brings together the level of information we have here today. That is why Club GTI has a global audience, all seeking or imparting advice, ideas and tips from the information exchanged in our forum. This is all possible as a result of the knowledgeable membership base we have, coupled with endless research and careful sorting of information, the kind which enthusiasts immerse themselves in, searching for answers!

The net result is we have ex-works car owners, Clubman competitors whether race, rally, sprint, autocross, all of which go hand in hand with the core of track day enthusiasts, all of whom are regularly out there showing others never to underestimate a car from the VAG stable!

On top of this, we have historians and archivists, who consistently unearth and document fascinating information from past VAG motorsport activity. Check out fthaimike's thread on the Kamei Golf, without a doubt the most famous competition Mk1 Golf in the World, a point proven by the ever increasing list of faithful tribute replicas, created with care by enthusiasts.

Most VAG Motorsport competitors with an eye on the web pass through Club GTI at some stage, having long since over come any apprehensions of boy racerism! We welcome competitors, past and present to richen the environment on Club GTI, whether seeking advice, looking for technical information or regaling tales and events from the past.

Check out the VAG Motorsport index to get started.

We put this compilation together, just a chilled day out in London, shooting the breeze and seeing what we could find out about our motors. Savour the VR!
