Theres all sorts of threads on here about fitting these gauges and a t piece so you can use the mfa oil temp and the gauge but nothing that gives any part numbers etc. So I've had an etka hunt this morning and come up with these part number:

    1985 Polo, Main group 9, Subgroup 19, Illustration 97-00.

    Part number: 030 103 717, Union 12.84 + vat
    035 103 715, Banjo bolt 17.10 + vat
    N013 8085, Seal, 17p + vat
    N0138182, Seal, 25p + vat

Not cheap I know but its a way of doing it. If anyone can post a pic up of that diagram all will make sense!:) I've read on here also that theres a t piece fitted to G60s but couldn't see it anywhere.

No rush, just sharing my research! Have since found the above part numbers listed against other vws, mk2 golfs, roccos etc but etka doesn't picture them, only list them. With them only being listed its hard to see what they do just by the description but the polo diagram pictures it well.

Thanks for posting this thread a few years back Ian. I have found it most useful because the banjo union is hard to find in ETKA. It is fitted on the G60 engine for the oil feed line but you can't actually see it in any of the diagrams. It turns out that it is actually on illustration 62-50 (supercharger / bracket / oil feed diagram) for the Golf, but it's not actually pictured; it's only listed in the part numbers alongside.

    Dragging up an old thread.
Is there any reason you couldnt have 2 of these on top of each other?
The 24V engine only has one port on the filter housing and i need to add in 2 VDO senders or i loose the gauges!

Shouldn't be a problem at all. As it's just two senders though, do you really need to stack a couple of the T-pieces? Could you not use the configuration like in i.a.n.b's image above? Or is it actually three senders you need to support?

You could stack the banjo tees without a problem, but you`d need to find/make the centre `bolt` piece which I guess would be more difficult.

Sorry, Yes there are 3 senders. The MK4 Oil pressure, VDO oil pressure & VDO oil temp.
Have just found the other MK4 one in the sump. Not sure which one is on the filter housing.

Its if i have enough room for that many. Its even tighter than a VR6 down there!

i have used one of these for the last few years and the only thing i noticed is that the temperature reads slightly lower than the mfa due to it being further from the block thus cooling down slightly
