I've grown up reading Koontz books and recently read Brother Odd, last of the trilogy one. I've always loved Koontz books so I'm completely biased!

May not be your thing but I'd recommend getting the odd books. Odd Thomas, Forever Odd and lastly Brother Odd. I read a good crime type book recently, I've only ever been able to read strange thriller/horror books before but this one really drew me in and kept me locked. Peter James, Looking Good Dead.

Hope some of that helps

Jon - if you like Clive Cussler, try Patrick Robinson. American naval adventure stuff - really good reading. Some are Shark Mutiny, Kilo Class, HMS Unseen, Scimitar.

I'm currently reading Sovereign by C Sansom - who-dun-its set in time of Henry VIII. I love good historical stuff.

How are the travels going? Where are you now and what are you up to?

Try "Lamb" by Christopher Moore. Funniest book I've read in years. Or pretty much anything by Tom Robbins if zany floats your boat.

Bourne Ultimatum - To be honest it's very hard work and I might just watch the film instead!

Dont bother. the book and film have almost exactly nothing to do with each other.

I currently have on the go:

    Bomber Boys
    The Bourne Identity
    Ultimate Spitfires
The Ionian Mission (one of the Master and Commander Series)

I have fairly recently finished reading Vulcan 607 for about the 3rd time! And have just finished Spitfire: The Biography.

Thoroughly enjoyable book about different stories within boxing, some fiction and some not. I would recommend it to anybody who enjoys the sport. [:D]
