Its a good resource but it does not have many VAG wheels on it hence this thread. Plus i do not know where the data was sourced so do not rely on it 100% - doesn't say what offsets or PCD as this will effect weight to. The aim of this thread to get accurate info on wheels we will use, so if you have a wheel with the tyre of can you weigh it and post up the results? cheers Tom.

Yep good idea, i have added yours to the first post. I weigh mine on a digital scale that has been tested for calibration with a known weight. Also use a second set we have to confirm.
Any wheels that are used on our VW would be good to have, after market and VW as manufacturers often stretch claims for wheel weights (tint offsets etc) so it would be good to get real world figures to compare to manufacture ones. Also if anyone has tyre weights it would be great to get that info up too, i have a T1R at home so will put that up for starters. I know for sure that eagle F1 tyres are alot heavier than T1R's so it would be good to get this info up as i feel it is often overlooked. 888 and other track orientated tyres my be heavier still. When putting up tyre weights please include the tread depth for reference. cheers Tom.

Just weighed a part worn T1R Tyre and it has come in at 7.2kg!!! more than i thought it would have. Anyway ill add this to the first post, would be good to get more tyre weights for reference tho' 888 or something like that would be interesting to know.
Found on the net a weight for a new Toyo T1S the predecessor to the T1R, it comes in at 7.9kg (17.4lbs) this looks to be close to my measurement of a part worn, the rest of the site has many more weights but it looks like T1S are some of the lightest. Most of the tyres are around 8.6kg-9kg (19-20lbs). It would be great to get some more tyre weights as well as wheels weights. ill stop harping on now - just found it interesting.

Intersting, not many R15 and no ofsets or method of data collection. Did RA's come in 6J, 6.5J and 7J???? as we have a 6.5J at 8.5kg and that site has a 6J at 8kg? And to add more confusion the site says that 7J RA's are 7kg????? we need to get conformation on this realy.
