Hey everyone I said hello in the hello place buy thought i should make a thread. I think this is the right place for it to go

    this is the car

The lows have been achieved by raising the A arm mounts 2" and using extended early strut tops at the front and 3" drop plates at the back with the tie rod ends flipped so i actually have pretty decent steering geometry (a arms are only pointing up very slightly and the tie rods are at the same angle).

Seeing as its pretty low its got a surprising amount of travel but i still have plans for some different coilovers on the front to get a bit more

Its running this little beasty which i just did the head gasket on and will soon be getting twin 40s on it instead of the gsxr600's.

Please excuse the wiring, that is likely to be sorted next.

Ill stick some more info up as i do more stuff..

Committed work on the wishbone inners. I'm impressed - never seen that done. Trying to figure how you'd get comfortable there's enough strength in the relocated mounts - are they braced back on the inside?

It'd be interesting to see the work down the inside of the inner wings.

That looks really good. It will be fun to drive with the tuned 1300 in it, what other plans are there for the engine, apart from the carbs?

Ok so due to desperate time the solid lifter 1.3 will be going in the car tomorrow, today we chopped the bottom off the sump (and moved the drain plug out of the way) so I can lower the car more (and hopefully not beat it to death). Ill be getting my hands on another engine to do the megajolt set up to at a later but not to distant date..

couple pics of the sump (kindly welded my mr coltech classics)

    got this far tonight.

still needs holes drilling for the cables, hook linkage up and sort out a choke cable.

got a little fuel leak but its easily fixed so no biggie
