MK2 trackday sprint and hillclimb golf

Hi all

Thought i would post up some pics and spec of my golf project

SHELL: lightened with all sound proofing removed inner door skins, lightened bonnet access wiring removed , poly carb windows, omp rollcage tied into A+B pillars,rally design wheel flocked dash cobra suzuka drivers seat r+d passenger seat

CHASSIS; Gaz coilovers, vw motorsport lower wishbones with serverical bearings same with rear beam eibach anti roll bars. omp strut brace, G 60 brakes braided lines standard 16v rears

ENGINE: 2.0 ABF ported polished head 3 angle valve seats kr exhaust cam uprated wur 4 branch manifold going through a power flow exhaust lightened flywheel mk3 gearbox.

The interior i have just finished after a trip to the berg cup in luxemberg in may for insperation with TK ,stuart,jamie and rob the level of prep and cars is awesome

wheels on the car are light weight ATS with yoko advan neova for the road and very wet trackdays

The wheels for track are comp TH with 888 on, this is a old pic

 

Its very nice and I am after a 2nd car.

My mate has a mk2 8v sitting on his drive with a bit of persuasion he might give it to me.
