    Right to list the specs:

    Custom Code phase 2
    Front Mounted Intercooler
    Green cotton air filter element
    Full Jetex Stainless steel system
    Lowered 45mm

    .......and the car is........

    a Seat Arosa 1.4 TDI [:D]

Here's the beast after getting it back from a 150mile trip (so a bit dirty)

It has the full seat ibiza cupra half leather interior, boost gauge and a turbo temp gauge which is nice :) It's running on 15x7's on the front and 15x7.5 on the rear, both wrapped in the latest Toyo T1-R's. [:D] The car is a 2002 reg with only 30K on the clock. With the re-map and mods' it should be pushing around 110-120hp but i'm waiting for rolling road for the results.

Oh yeah, its 50 a year road tax [:^:] and averages 60mpg [8D]

I just need to tidy it up, and sort the cosmetics out and parts. As soon as it came home, i took the seat 'bling' chrome off the grills [:$]

Not when its a bargain ;) I feel sorry for the lad i bought it off, he's spent about 2000 on it since he's owned it for 6 months, but i got it 350 less than what he paid. Got a nice receipt from JBS of 568 for the custom code phase 2 as well [:D]

very nice indeed! Thats look brilliant especially in that nice metallic blue, looks like a little go cart and probably handles like one too?

Are you impressed with it so far?

wicked, will that engine run on svo (straight veg oil) - i know the golf tdi`s do....

imagine, trip down to lidl for some frozen chips and 50 litres of vegetable oil...

all in all a funky motor, wouldn`t suit me but i really like it

Coilovers are my plan once i start working. As for the wheels, i was never a fan of them for starters. Looking for some RH Cups or remove the spray paint (can anyone help me how i do that)?

As for plans, just get some nice speakers, keep it clean and tidy. Not much more I can modify it really other than wheels and lowering it.

As for how it goes, lets just say it shocks a few people ;)

As for handling, its no where near a patch on the Mk2. But the Toyo's T1-R tyres are impressive, and the car responds well, but is a little rolly polly in the corners.

I'm so impressed by it, its cheap to run, refined and enough performance for me.

So far giving it some beans (getting used to turbo lag due to intercooler) and working out shift points, its returned about 50mpg.

Compared to my mk2 golf, its so refined, sweet. My mate couldn't belive its a 1.4 diesel under the bonnet. Its not as quick as people told me it will be, but turbo was running at 50*c on the way home, but later tonight much cooler at just under 30*c.

I'm giving it a wash tomorrow, so will post some better pics [:D] Thanks for the comments guys-and Golf2-you'll see it in Newbury now as I'm back for good ;)

Sure thing! I'll get some more interior pics for you! Its pretty much the same as the lupo, with slight different detailing (and probably not as well built) but for the price i paid i can't argue as there's not many Seat Arosa 1.4tdi's in the UK with less than 30K on the clock[:D]
