liking that, looks 'ard and has the speed to back it up
i'd get a new rain tray for the scuttle .. otherwise it might develop a mysterious leak

i take it the 66k mileage refers to engine, not chassis?

Get some bigger front brakes? If you havent already.
    KR head and cams?
    Tidy it up a bit?
Space the wheels out a bit?

    Possibilities are endless mate.

If it's pretty much pink, go over it ONCE (and I mean once!) with mhyrr (sp?), bought my car up a treat... but only repeat it about once a year, else you'd end up with bare metal
In-between times, I just use meguiars gold class after a good wash about once every two weeks to keep him in condition :)

(errrr Dubmuffin wrote this btw, I was referring to my Red GTi 16v, forgot I wasn't signed in on my account [:$])

Hhmmmm t-cut is a bit fierce imo... only should be used as a last resort, and if they've not got to the faded to pink stage like my dad's old MK2 had, then mhyrr should bring them up fine without burning the paint to bits

AFAIK you won't be able to fit a bmc induction kit on a 16v...maybe someone else will correct me?

Just drill out the box (wing side) and put a decent panel filter in

    ????
    no can do!
you can replace the element, get a k&N or similar panel filter, drill a load of holes on the WING side of the air box, remove the covers on the hole on the wing side of the box to. The only other change you can make and i dont know if there are any gains to be made but later 90spec 16v had a larger airbox and wider piping leading to the throttle body.

someone might want to correct me but years ago i did see large deeper panel filters that clip to the bottom of a standard air box top ... silly money if i remember rightly.

Certianly a BMC wont fit your set up as you are using K-JET.

ah.....see, you can't really claim its a 60k car then, as its not;)

i think a bi of tlc on the paintwork is the first job IMO (g3 is way to go from what i hear, as mentioned already), altho i suspect some of the pics here make it look worse than it is.

will look cool if you make those changes as shown in photoshop picture. just need to get that bumper re.sprayed...can i ask why the bonnet is black? i think it would be better red....if you fancy leaving the black bumper on, considered doing the roof black as well..that would look bette??

wheels in p'shop...can't beat them! :)

oh yeah you can't fit an induction kit...u will have to get a decent panel filter...i recommend powertec or pipercross....
