Where can I get a lowering kit for my 87 VW Caddy.
I've been told the back needs the axle removing and puttin back in above leaf springs but there should be a kit available for the front and dampers for the back ?
None of my suppleres list a kit for the car so I'm guessing its a specialist product ?

    Cheers
    Jay

I'm kinda guessing but is the front the same as a mk1 golf, if so you can get hold of that easily enough.

right check out www.vwcaddyforum.com loads of info on there,

off the top of my head GSF supply such a kit, you can use normal springs up front on the rear, on the rears you need to relocate the axle above the leaf springs rather than under it, its a fairly simple mod to do with a bit of DIY chucked in, also check out www.bullock-style.de they do loads for caddy's.

Except that it will cost you 's I can offer a converted rear axle for a fraction of the cost ;) and its stronger (as per factory), PLUS those cumbersome kits weigh about 12 Kilos [xx(]

More info on the axle flip here
