" Saab " ... I took that shot a few years ago, back in South Wales whilst servicing my friend`s (forest rally ) Mk2 Escort. There was a Historic section to the event, camped out just below us, found the shot whilst cleaning up my Photobucket account - no more in there but I`ll go trawl the camera card for anything else.

Found a few more but not uploading, what is the size limit ?

Dave ... I`ll email them to you.

I wish I could horde golf parts, I'm very much a I don't need it, let's throw it away. I've thrown far too much over the past couple of years in golf parts.

    Hording ... ^

I`m somewhere `in between` and due a small clear out soon ... Mk2 16v went seven years back, all the spares now sold off but plenty of KJet parts that I bought to `investigate - learn` the internals of are needing to go as the Mk1 is now on TB`s.

Have a few sets of road - track Yokohama`s in 14" to `de-rim` and part with, at sixteen years old they`ll be rather `past it` for traction !

my problem is I went from a full size garage, to one which is less than a meter deep. So I've had to build upwards

its a lot better now as I sold the G60 steels and put my TSW Omegas back on with new tyres, the tall box to the left has now been removed as the radiator it contained is on the car. Plus the MK4 towbar in the picture has been swapped for a Bora bumper reinforcement bar which is a little smaller

I'm starting to sell a few bits on now too, I dont need 2x polo 6n shifters or 2x seat cable clutch actuators for example! God knows why but I bought a genuine NOS MK4 PD150 intercooler which is in the big box to the bottom right, I really need to get the boost pipes sorted on that and check the turbo for oil leaks. The sump guard is in there as well, need to get round to putting it back on...

up top out of shot is the climatronic a/c rad + fan housing, a set of G60 arches, audi tilt+slide roof etc...

at one point I had 3 new metal abf water pipes, I was buying them in when they came up for sale as they're not easy to get. I'm down to only 1 spare now as gave one to a mate and fitted one to mine to replace the 8v version I had to use when the engine went in originally.

All this plus in the garden shed 1 wall and much of the floor is taken up with boxes of wiring looms and some other random parts I didnt have room to fit in the garage

I was trying to trail brake to charge the battery the same time as using the charge. It didnt work sadly.
I feel i need to balance my personal carbon footprint so will take the MK5 out soon. A quick trip with 400bhp should help lol

Yes Carey it is a V4. First used in 1966.
3 cylinder TS cars of that era would have a triple down draught carb!

    But:

A D reg. car should have a small windscreen. That body is 1968 or later!
