Fabrikat Ray exhausts?? anyone heard of them?

Just got a used exhaust for my mkiv, fitted it love it.

The markings on it say Fabrikat Ray, and some part no.s.

got it for a song too, so has anybody heard of them?

We are the official North American importer for Jetex Exhaust. Eurosport Buys from the same factory ie.. Rays - Simons as Jetex UK does with a private label "Eurosport". Eurosport had a business relations direct with the factory before Jetex North America started operations. They are the only ones in North America (factory confirmed) who sell them but under their own private label. (hence many with their logo etched in).

Jetex North America does offer some systems that the factory only made for the VW-Audi models for Jetex or have sold out at the factory. We keep a large inventory in US and UK to draw from.

Eurosport Tuning also may have special systems only made for them which you can only buy from them. They also have a good inventory on hand.

Many may remember me from the New Dimensions days back when we worked with Borla to build us custom systems for the Corrado and the Mk3 models. It took lots of work to get a system that was quiet and not boomy. It put out the power too. Still never quiet enough for me.

In the search to find a better manufacturer and larger product line we found Jetex. Started selling them back in late 1990's and I took over the line in 2005 when Tony closed the doors. Well the new ND now offers the systems too as well as the Potters (Virtual World) and Black Forrest Industries back east. These are fulfilled by Jetex NA and UK. Eurosport Tuning in Canada is direct with Rays.

There are few products in my 28 years of being in the VW-Audi parts and service business that I am more proud to sell then Jetex. (Rays,Simons,Eurosport,etc...) They are not flashy highly polished systems but they are great, well built and QUIET performance exhaust.

Great to have Frank on board to help fill the line for the Volvo and BMW market too.

if its german languge i think it could mean make ray in englsih. I think in rough translation it would be ray fabrication.

that sounds about right

it looks like jetex is just a franchise for Rays/Simons exhausts

sounds like you got very good deal with this exhaust
