    posted my mk1 gtd here for some years ago, well welding rust sucks so i sold it ;)
    so heres my 85 Jetta coupe ;) yes i has a little rust too but i don`t need 50% of the frickin car welded ;)
    same engine and trans from the gtd

    Engine:
    ABK engine block (Audi 8v)
    ABF head (oem kr cams port n polish )
    JE-Pistons Custom 83mm 8.5:1
    IE Rods
    Bahnbrenner exhaust manifold
    Bahnbrenner downpipe
    Bahnbrenner intake manifold w/ VR6 TB
    Garret T3/4 57 trim .63AR
    Tial 38mm Wastegate
    Megasquirt 1 v3.0 -upgraded to MS2 (4 COP, Boost & launch control)-
    Siemens deka 630cc EV6
    Aeromotive FPR
    Chinacrap 50mm BOV

    oh its been a long and hard process but this ****box is ready for paint!
    i pretty much worn out my welder, so i need to buy a new one for the next car ;)

    thanks ;D trying my best for now, some things needs to get fixed again in the future, but right now i need the car rolling by the end of november since im going to use ut in my wedding mid december :S

    got some parts back from powdercoating ;)

    Prep work is furstrating, time consuming and boring :p
    me and a friend doing the prep work our self, but the painter is picky and finds dents and spots whe never could have noticed :p frustrating but thats the bit thats going to pay off in the end i hope ;)

    im changing the colour of the car, all fenders and doors have different colours already so i cant wait to see it in one colour ;)

    The car is painted ;) to bad my fiance would kill me if i post pictures before the wedding :/

    Somone have experience with Spec clutches for 16vT? stage 4 , 4puck unsprung is what i have been looking at.

    I just run a standard LUK VR6 clutch. I`ve had zero issues with the power / torque I`m running.

    I suppose it depends on what you are aiming for really.

    CM fx400 6puck sprung here.. old and zero issues :thumbup: solid and drive able..

    44 days left. engine not started, brake lines not fitted, no windows, fuel lines not run, fuel cell not fitted , turbo not back from balancing and still feeling im missing some parts :p

    coffee and heavy metal is my best friends at the moment ;P

    it`s getting close. just waiting for the turbo to come back from repair/balancing

    tested the fuel system last night, leaks leaks leaks. needs some more work ;)

    Looking good, but why does the intercooler to TB bend reduce then increase in Diameter ??
