I did a quick search on the word Corsa (because it won't be on here all that often) and a few build threads came up. Don't have time to trawl through them though. I've heard of people using Saxo stuff as well, IIRC, so might be worth a search on Saxo too, and look for build threads.

NigeP has one of those two on his Mk2 if that helps. Do a search for his build thread. Word of warning - it's long. Start from the end and work back as it's on the last couple of pages.

Going to this myself soon. From my initial investigations, corsa b and c are both electric with the motors on alternate sides

Yes I have have one, self fitted / converted, was wonderful with lots of camber, fitting a quick rack also helped

should have pictures sat on the hard drive somewhere, I know I need to look into the electrics it can give me too much assistance

'electrics' need a pulse signal from the speedo (or equivalent) to reduce the assistance as speed rises, so i have read

I don't seem to have that many looking at them, more of a get on & build it kind of guy!! will get some online @ weekend

requires both a pulse from engine (RPM) and a 'wheel speed' as the assistance varies with vehicle speed - I have a varible resisiter on mine to alter this

If you havent seen them, a chap sells these on ebay ready modded to bolt straight on (420 i think) or if you have the skills you could modify one yourself, (cheaper)

Why would you want power steering on a,mk1? They are light and easy enough to drive without it,only found power steering to be a removal of feeling whilst driving.
