Sent the BBS wheels off to get them built as they quoted me 100 and thought it was worth as they will come back with tyres fitted and hopefully no leaks!

I'm sick of looking at the Ronal turbos as they need refurbishing also!

Plans are to sort the trigger wheel and get it up and running on the jenvey throttle bodies

Today I've bought an ABF short engine so will build this with the KR rebuilt ported and polished head together with the new jenvey throttle bodies, emerald ecu it should go quite well!

Today's plan was to do my own stuff but as usual phone calls for help disctracted me

However I did manage to jet wash the ABF engine ready for strip down
I'm hoping to get one evening next week to strip the head off and then get the bottom end pulled apart
New bearings balance the bottom end and possibly flat plane or knife edge the crank? What's your thoughts?

I need to port match the inlet to the head also and find a decent 4 into 1 manifold

If you're going NASP I think 4-2-1 is generally the better thought of exhaust manifold , pulse something or other

Bottom end rebuilt and Bought a inlet for the 42mm jenveys and got the head on today

Whilst digging around I remembered I had the carbon airbox so bolted it on but think I may have alternator clearance issues

The alignment was slightly off but I can soon sort that if it fits in the bay

I've sent the other cam cover off as I've blasted it and getting it crackle black powder coated

if you swap the alt setup for the early non-ac mk3 setup the alternator is dropped right down, be plenty of room then :)

no big deal, plenty mk3s in the scrappy you can mooch over worst case. early 1.8-2.0 will all do you plus I think some of the 1.6 lumps are big block based. cant miss it the early non-ac has a massive spring under the alternator, you need the alternator as well as the lower bolt hole is slotted for adjustment

as you can see, there is a metric butt-load of space

Definitely not the one I have, whilst looking for said bracket my iPhone was in my pocket and I've cracked the screen as I've lent into the depths of the box! Joys of searching through old toot I guess!!!

I don't suppose you know the part number?

On a happier note my BBS RS alloys arrived back and cam cover is back from powder coasters

028903143ad is what I have I think - can't check as it's fitted. There's about a foot between the bodies and the alternator.

yarp 028903143AD is the one, best bet is scappy hunting for the bracket if you bag a load of other gubbins it wont cost you owt. alternator from there or ebay depending on the kind of money they want for it

    Thanks guys

Started to fit the BBS RS wheels and the fronts are rubbing on the calipers so now need some spacers, why is nothing easy!
