As above I ve had this golf for a few months my mate used to have it then he had to sell it so I got it of him and I keeping it for long as I can so much fun I still trying to get used to it what bits are what what things are for and everything really because I have gone from nova gte to this so its a bit different lol so its a mk2 gti with a vr6 engine the mods from what I know so far are its fully polybushed corrado g60 front and rear breake discs conversion . front breake discs vented rear discs are cross drilled it has a rear camber kit 15" coilovers has a rear roll cage audi front seats are really nice and soft the rear is all stripped out . it has 15" genuine oz vega split rims ive got strut brace on order just got to get one for the boot it also has a full race exhaust from front to back sounds really good pops and bags the engine has been ported and polished has red leads k&n manifold has been ported as well has power steering think I might have missed some bits but I update . stuff ive done when got it I washed it and tcut it for 2 days then clay bar it then polish it and polished the wheels up I think its never seen polish when I got it it was like matt white but now its back to gloss I changed the number plate lights to led and the headlight bulbs and side lights changed the wiper blades got new tyres on the front and today I just changed the rad fan switch as the car started to over heat and leak water from the rad bottle but it still leaked but the fans kicked in so I had a spare rad bottle so changed it and now we have no leaking so now that's done next job is changing the drive shafts as it broke a drive shaft last week lol never ending anyway some pics when I got it polished up nice and clean took to southend in the summer nice drive took some pics that's it for now
not much of an update but I got it back on the road now new drive shaft fitted old one in the bin the old one snapped from the hub so that's that done been out to day and got new spark plugs and oil and a filter so that will be the job tomorrow and if I have time might do the speedo cable

So I was thinking I bet do a little update so the winter has came and the golf got tucked away for the winter so I have been ordering parts that it needs and thing I want to do and change on it so when I got the car the rear inside was all in primer so I have started to take everything out the car part from the roll cage so seats are out dash will be out Thursday that will be getting flocked and something done to it but not saying until see how it comes out lol and have been starting on the inside the car prepping it for a nice paint job no pics yet . I also have a boot carpet coming for when I do track days it be for when I put track wheels in the back to stop it getting marked I am ordering bucket seats tomorrow that's it for now a lot to get on with just want it to look better for the shows and meets some pics will be up
I am also on the look out for some cheap alloys for track days if anyone has some or could do swap for some vr6 alloys cheers dave
Little update the golf has been sitting in the garage for about 2 half months now as don't really like to drive it on the roads in the winter and plus stuff need doing to it so I have had a few things come for it I have poor boys wheel wax better steering wheel speedo cable as last one broke new boot carpet and I have a dash coming my mate is going to mod the dash for me as I will be having roll cage in front of the car but at the mo I am prepping the inside rear of the car for paint. I hope to have this done for the summer I need to get some pics up soon as well
I ve been uploading them so soon I will get them up I been thinking of painting the the skirt trims as well not sure what to do with them

yeah the golf mk2 is a bit bigger but I don't think I can live with out a nova so I might sell my corsa to get one then I can have to old girls
