    Hi, I'm getting some new rims soon.and I'm a bit embarressed:oto say I don't really understand
    The offset thingy.its a mk1 cabby and currently running on ra,s 15" 6j et35.with 195 tyres.
I'm not to much bothered about going wider unless I can still use my existing tyres as there near new.
My question is ive seen 6.5j et 33 would this be a problem for me fitting.
Would the 0.5 j extra put a slight stretch on my tyres or do I need to bigger j before this becomes apparent.
Any advice is good advice as ive not got much idea with Offset

"j" is not a measurement - it's something to do with the profile of the lip (sorry, pet hate)

As sparrow says, you'll be fine with a 195 on 6.5" rim - I have them on 7" wide wheels and have had them on 7.5" ones too.
