    Hey all,

Ive just got my 15" BBS RA's refurbished and i want to put on some shiny new Nankang Ns-2r tyres. I cant find the 120 compound in 195/50r15 only in the 180 compound. They have 120 compound in 195/55r15. Any one got any advice as to the look and clearence issues????
My car is a Mk2 Golf with a 20Vt and O2J gearbox so speedo is already waaay out so it will only make that better.

as for clearence, suspension is Eibach pro race springs with Bilstein B4 shocks.

Currently on 15x9.25 with 195/45r15 with an awefull stretch.

hope thats not too many numbers

sooo 195/55 rather than 195/50 on my BBS RA

    cheers

People normally run 195/50/15 or sometimes the smaller 195/45/15.

Going 55 will increase rolling radius altering measured speed slightly , acceleration and top speed .

5.5 cm larger circumference and 2.42 miles an hour faster than speedo at 80 mph

Yeah I understand the rolling radius will be greater. The speedo over reads by about 8-10mph anyway so it will make that slightly better.
My car has 300bhp and 360ftlb so I'm not worried about acceleration either ha-ha.

Just wondering if I would have any clearance issues and if it would look stupid, like too much tyre on the rim. Some pics would be nice

I have run that size (road legal track tyre) but on a 7" rim (7 x 15 ET33), with Eibach coilovers ... no clearance issues.

I assume that your RA`s are 6" or 6.5" ? ... I would suggest that you require wider wheels & tyres for your power output.
