Just bought some Ronal R8 wheels 15x7 Et43 current wheels ET35 14x6 will I have running issues with a 195/50/15 tyre and will I need spacers to stop it hitting the shock? Just want advice if I'll need spacers so I can get them ordered before the wheels arrive!

If i worked it out right the inside of the wheel will be roughly 20.5mm closer to the centre of the car

Okay so 20mm spacers would put the wheel in the same place as it is now?

It would push the inside out to where the others are. But the outer edge would be then 24.5mm further out than the others.

Ah okay I see so 15mm would be a good compromise or 10mm?

To be honest i don't know what would be best. The best thing to do, which is what i tend to do, is search on Google for the wheel size and et on a mk2 golf and see if anyone has already done it.
Hopefully someone has and will state what they have had to do

I've tried that but can't seem to find anything about that sort of offset wheel

if it was me i would just wait till they arrive and then measure up when you know where you want them, opposed to buying the wrong size and regretting it

then you can get your STANCE really dialed
