Because of the photobucket issue, i have enabled the photo upload for you so post away!

Regarding the rest of the images on the forum. We have a plan that i will test ASAP.

Did anyone ever come up with a solution to this? Way over my head as I have never used PB or any hosting site for that matter. But at some point in the future I will need to.

    How does one up-load directly?
From an iPad, or Mac perhaps?
As most of the images on here are from photobucket sources, why not enquire if the club can pay an annual fee so members pb accounts are unfrozen?
I would be quite willing to pay extra membership fees.
Say 5 or even 10 per annum!

I tried to download my albums from photobucket and it locked-up!

AT THE MOMENT ALL USERS CAN DIRECTLY DOWNLOAD PICTURES FROM THEIR COMPUTER,TABLET OR PHONE.

To do so select the picture icon above ^
Select From computer and then choose file.

    Thank you Mike.

At least I can add new images now.

Every forum has been devastated by the pb action, and it has made most of the content pretty worthless without the images.
Our own forum, as with the others, it not what it was and is not as attractive to new members.
To make it stand out we need all of the lost pb contents restored.
But. There is no way, even if I can download my albums, that I could possibly re-build my threads.
I really believe that an approach from the club, to unlock member's accounts, for an annual fee, might be worth a try!?

Surely they would rather have some income, even if a lot less than that from individuals, than nothing at all?

Hi and sorry to be thick but when I try the instructions above it only shows From URL not the From Computer option ??
If I have a paid membership should it show as a paid member on my profile ??
Your help would be greatly appreciated as I really want to get some pics of my G60 up now I've finished the last few months work

you should be able to see the it the computer tab as we switched it on for forum users a few weeks back maybe it's because you are a Newbie or got less than 10 posts
If you have paid for membership I'll have a look and get Mat to move you up

I've just stumbled across a potential workaround called 'photobucket embed fix' that's an add on for Chrome and Firefox. You can google it. I haven't tried it yet but thought I'd share anyway. Sorry if it's already been mentioned.

It hasn`t been mentioned and it works a treat. Nice one and thanks for sharing.

I suspect Photobucket will block it once it spreads, so I`d suggest people download their images whilst they are live again.
