Hey folks, just thought I would say hello after becoming a member. Been reading a lot of threads on the forum for research as could be potentially the new owner of a mk2 golf soon. Fingers crossed. Haven't had a mk2 in years and looking forward to it. Also drive an Octavia VRS Blackline as the daily/Labrador wagon. Cheers Alyn
Welcome to the Club Alyn. Quite a few of you have been finding us which is good to see. We like newer VW based cars too! Feel free to stick some pictures up of the MK2 when you have it and the Skoda VRS. is the VRS one with the older EA113 2.0TFSI or the later MK7 based EA888 engine?
It is a 2012 so not current shape, has the 2.0 TDI CR engine if that helps. You're knowledge is obviously far superior to mine when it comes to this sort of thing. I will get some pics up if I can work out how to lol. Cheers for the welcome folks.
