I have a manual 1.6 Golf with a Solex 34 PICT-5 carb. Up until recently it has run perfectly. It still runs perfectly on the choke, and during normal driving its fine, but once its warm it will not idle , it just dies. It will restart Etc. The only recent change is a replacement radiator (like for like).

All hoses Etc look undamaged, and everything looks visually looks fine.

Any advice Etc would be very welcome.

Idle jet is either blocked or the idle solenoid has lost power to itself.

I don't get 12v to the solenoid when the ignition is on. The wiring simply goes from the solenoid to the choke, where is the power source?
I checked the solenoid directly off the battery, and the plunger moved

If you connect the idle solenoid directly to the battery, does the car idle? If yes, then you need to connect the solenoid to the ignition circuit.
If not, then the idle jet is blocked or the mixture screw is turned all the way in.
