Ok so I'm restoring a mk2 16v that's been off the road for about 10 years, in the past the wires have snapped off the cut off valve and I have no clue on the polarity could someone take a photo of one for me so I can rewire mine? Thanks all
it makes no difference which way you wire these up, but I might be able to dig out some bits of kr loom to find out for you if you were worried about originality

Snapping wires are a pain. Mine had 15 years off the road and just recently got it running. Wish you tons of luck with the restoration & I hope to learn from that.
