Hello all, Got my first GTI! A 1994 5 door MK3 8v - all original, no mods with only 64K on the clock and 1 previous owner. Drives like a dream. I plan to keep it all original, just needs a little clean up - love the original wheels. It's an early 1994 so its the 2E block and thankfully no ABS or airbags, less to go wrong... Very little rust, something rare on a MK3 I've been told.. Just a few patches on the tailgate underneath the window where the water collects and a tiny bit on one of the wings. Anything I should be looking for on the MK3 common problems etc? All round very happy with, hopefully get it to some shows in the summer Conor
Looks good welcome to the club Mk3s are a diminishing bread as lots thought them unpretty and a bit heavy . And us Mk2 owners stripped out all the ABF engined ones lol
