I own a 2014 Jetta mostly stock and I was just wondering after I get my turbo kit installed and a fine tune done what other modifications can I do to my car to significantly increase the performance?

Port and Polish, cams, big valves, big brakes and better suspension, standalone management etc.

can you elaborate on standalone management and I was thinking about taking the suspension off of a golf of the same year and installing them onto my jetta

Unless it was a GTI or similarly sporting variant I don't see the benefit.

Standalone engine management, from the likes of DTA, Omex, Megasquirt, Motec etc, allows a tuner to comprehensively "remap" the engine to its best.

you don't think a Jetta can be made to out perform a Golf with a reasonable budget?

I know motorcycles well but I'm very new to the idea of modifying a car engine, I'm just looking for some advise for the car I already own instead of having to invest in a whole other car. I really want to learn as much as I can

with vast amounts of money, huge turbos and regular rebuilding of the engine.

What is your current drivetrain and what is your budget, 1000, 10,000 , 100,000?
