So, I'm looking for a little advice on my mk2 GTI with and ABF fitted. It's a CE2 car. There are 2 sets of cables I'm needing help working out where they go:

    1. 2 wires into a connector - comes from the cable under the battery. They are thick, 1 brown, 1 red/black. Seem to have a 12v feed when ignition is on. Can't work out where it goes.

    2. 3 wire missing a connector. Comes from the right side of the block, above the starter motor. 1 black, 1 brown/white, 1 blue/white. Thought it could be the fan or thermostat? It seems to have a 2 cable connector next to it that's white from memory.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    1. Is for the radiator fan, shown as T2i in this pic: https://www.dropbox.com/s/uolw9grz83e5e6l/Fan wiring.png?dl=0 Red wire permanent 12V from fuse, heading for rad thermoswitch (F18), on mating part. Brown wire to earth on fan module (V7), from chassis earth somewhere.

    Non-waterproof and often badly corroded.

3 pin looks to be speedometer sender, it will run from the back of the round plug where the sensor loom joins the main bay loom if so
