2 questions looking for answers please.
1 Would a Cyprus KR engine ever have used a catalyser? Reason for question is there is is a warning on oil filler cap about damaging it by overfilling. NB I can't see any evidence of a lambda sensor.

2 Maybe stupid question but is there a particular way to check engine mounts? I fitted standard exhaust, but I think it is touching somewhere on acceleration.

    Thanks
    Joe

    Hiya.

KR engines never came with catalysts.

However in the EU some MK2 vehicles came with 16v engines more pollution control coded PL.
