    Hi people,
I'm doing AEB swap with ME7.5 on my Mk1 Golf, it has early Ceramic fusebox.
The engine loom is ''standalone'' it only delivers wires for dash gauges.
i have done everything exactly like in the rubjonnys harness quide(i hope im right) but im now having an issue when im trying to power up the ecu/engine loom.
I have red/green connected back of the fusebox straight to the permanent live,
    Fuelpump/sensors,n75,lambda relay goes like so:

    30 - permanent live
    85 - BAM ecu purple/white wire
    86 - ignition live
87 - to pump and engine stuff(blue/yellow wire)

The problem one is: I turn the key, relay pulls for 2 seconds and lets off, measured purple white,it ground's only for that 2 seconds, but why?
As i take off the purplewhite from the relay holder and put wire that goes straight off to grounding spot, the relay works like charm and i get power to ecu as much so i could get it connected to VCDS.
    VCDS shows:

Could the code P1609, do the purple/white wires problem as its trying to ''shutdown'' the engine?

Problem 2: As i connect the ECU relay in the socket, it starts pulling straight away, i measured and its getting power like so.

    Thanks already people

    I suspect so.

Might need to be coded out.
