Just bought a mk3vr not long ago. When I'm turning right a squeaking noise comes from what sounds like the front wheel area!?

    any ideas?

think I'll need new shocks soon aswell as these make kind of a squeaking rubbing noise from the rears when going over bumps at low speeds!

    Craig.

erm my blower motor bearing is going and when i turn right that squeaks.

Turn the blowers off then turn right if i dont make the noise then its your blower motor.

Put some insulation tape around your drivers door striker (on 'b' pillar where door catches) and see if it goes! ;)

Have the same problem, thou the squeaking sounds like its comming from the passenger footwell, not the wheel. It could be the blower motor, but it still happens when i turn it off. Strange one? Getting p***** off driving with a mouse in the car!
