So after that show my rumbling noise that happened at snetterton reappeared, it sounded like it was the gearbox or bearing

    I found this

Looked like the cups were worn

So after some advice I found new cups were still available from Vw so i bought some and new seals

I used this bad boy to compress the cups back in so I could get the circlips back in

Got it all back together and took it for a test drive and the noise was still there!!!????

So I done what I should have done first and checked the front bearings ????

The car was put to one side for a few months while I was having some building work done at home which meant the mk2 had to spend a few months outside on a friendly neighbours drive.
Until early dec when i had the alignment check and tweaked again after fitting the bc's

Then is was off the brands hatch for the day for the clubgti track day.

I didn't get too many pics on this day as I was too busy lapping. Car again was trouble free apart from a 180 spin at mclaren early on on a damp track when catching a slower car, I managed to keep it on the black stuff though lol.

Some nice race car in itbs

I managed to jump in with Nige for some passenger laps which was awesome, this thing is rapid and so stable, we did take a bit of an off road route at one point and visited the gravel [emoji51][IMG]

This didn't phase me though and I went straight back out in mine while Nige cleared the gravel from under his. Slowly getting quicker [emoji16]

    Next update April 2016

Bought this little setup off of Sambo, luckily he kindly loaded it into his car and took it to the santa pod and I met him there, I was planning to drive upto Blackpool to get it from him, so he saved me a lot of time

Jenvey direct to head throttle bodies with 90mm trumpets and emerald k6 ecu and a standard abf lump.
The plan with this is to put it on my current abf for now .

With me using it on track a bit more I didn't want to wear out the mint recaros so I got hold of a pair of corbeau club sports, a nice simple looking fixed back bucket seat.

Took the backs out and left one recaro on for now as the next trip was upto curby for my 1st club gti day and the wife came with me so let her have the option to adjust the seat for the long drive
