Made a few little changes to the car this week, I added the german plates i ordered at inters, changed the grill to a cl one with a chrome badge, and added my new mirrors, ive seen these mirrors on a mk1 before but never a mk2 i orginally had them on my Nova. I also got a clay bar and went over the car and then gave it a good polish. Sorry about the amout of pics i got carried away. Edited by: Paul 16v
sweet! are they englemann opel manta 400 mirrors? theres a trick you can do with the front indicater lenses too snap out the orange reflector and use phillips silvavision bulbs,up to you like neil.
Yep your right about the mirrors mate I know about the indicators just han't got aroung to getting the bulbs yet, will be the next thing i do

Cheers mate, the suspension is fk highsports, Nope the wheels have some sort of lacquer on them so only take at the max 1 min per wheel. yep chinese handles.
Cant make my mind up bout the mirrors. Look great from certain angles but not keen at otherb angles loving the rest of the car

Looking great but as to the mirrors i am in two minds. As previously said from some angles they look wrong but others they look Awesome. But as you says its something different and thats the whole point of modding'!
Looks Top Now i'm normally against anyone copying me, but i do think it'd look a heap better with a GTI style red stripe on the single lamp grille, here's a wee 'shop i just did

Yeah, just masked up the line, keyed it, plastic primed it, then a few coats of tornado red, very subtle, but much nicer
