bumper bracket lost a nut! corroded...

    Big problem... I have an aftermarket front bumper... and the front bumper metal subrame, which has the welded nuts which the engine subfame bolts clamp up to is missing one bolt due to rust.
    Subframe on 3 bolts [:x] one day i tightened them up and the nut and the surrounding metal sheared from the bumper bracket...is this undrivable? i think i need a new bumper as you cant get a metal bumper bracket to fit the bumper i think i read...?
    any help appreciated...

    Should be all right as the front subframe is supported by a third bolt in between the bumper two bolts. The bolts are available from vag and you could get a new nut to suit and get it welded to the bracket.
