Am I right in thinking that an Audi 2.2 throttle body is an upgrade for the Mk1 Golf Gti?
What's involved in the conversion, any other parts needed?
Anyone done this and noticed a difference!?

you need the warm up regulator off the 2.2 or the 2.3 you could also use the 2.3 TB too,

    UPDATE.

I fitted the Audi TB and warm up regulator, but I'm slightly confused as the inlet didn't need any reshaping at all, it was exactly the same shape as the new gasket & TB, I wonder if this car's had this done before [8-}]

You should be able to tell if it's already been done, as the casting lines will have been removed where the manifold was opened out.

Seems I need to connect a vacuum feed to it still though, I might use the MFA one as the MPG bit doesn't work any more.
