Mine were well packaged and protected. Have to admit the powdercoating on mine are not 100% but definitely not like that. Im not saying they are not to blame but these wheels are normally used for competition which from what Ive seen the finish is not normally as good as road wheels.

Yea i am aware they wont be as good as mass produced wheels and didnt expect them to be, but one thing is not as good, but this is on another level of poor

Spoke to Martin today from Rayland motorsport and it seems i may have a choice of waiting for another set to be made or getting these stripped and painted locally

Just been to see local specialist and he quoted me 211 inc Vat to have them redone properly

I may choose this option as it will be alot quicker

Push your point across and have a good moan, shocking pictures, and sure that the company themselves would also be shocked that they are responsible for those. Despite best efforts things go wrong, so how far are they willing to go to make up for it. We often feel bad about pushing sopmeone who is trying to sort out a problem but go for it anyway.

Covering costs to have them put right maybe a kind gesture and certainly a nice way to let you have your wheels on the car quicker but is that it? What if you were not happy and returned them for a full credit, how much easier for them is it to let you sort out the paint finish locally, so what more can they do for you if you agree to keep them. It's often the last step of agreement to resolve something where you can prise a little something extra.

I have to do it every other day at my work so although it is sometimes unfair for me its business.

I'd be asking for my money back. Why would you want a set of compomotive rims after seeing that. What about the quality that you can't see - do you reckon that's 'just as good'?

Still waiting to hear from them, you guessed it, no promised call backs yet, i gota do all the phoning!

Will be sorted today, i will force an answer from them or one of the rims will be sent flying through their office window, grrrrr...!!!

Mike, problem i had is finding a set of rims to clear the brakes, dont want to use spacers and certantly dont want to be taking brakes off as i love them

If anyone knows of a set of 18s that will clear brakes i will be asking for my money back!

Trial fitted one to make sure centre bore and Pcd is correct as i had my doubts, all is good

Brake clearance is awesome and iv overdone the ET at low ET20, could have got away with ET28-ish i think

Really wish they will sort it soon, want to keep the wheels as i recon they will suit the car

    R32 Discs 334mm, i think

Cayenne 6 pots, they do 3 sizes this is the biggest one, very deep, about 65mm between disc face and caliper outside face

pro race 1.2 wheels have very very good clearance, just obviously not as desirable name as compomotive wheels though

I'v looked into pro-race ones, had a chap at rally design do me a calc at which offset was needed to clear calipers and it came back at ET15

To be honest like i said above comps would have cleared my brakes in ET28-ish so its quite a difference
