    Lifted engine again and stuck some heat mat to the bulkhead and started final fit of the turbo

    What a great build thread, will need to keep an eye on this one, 1.8T is the next plan for my golf. Will start my own thread shortly [:D]

    First turn of the key today! - not getting a spark at the moment not sure why but hopefully work it out tomorrow.

    Few plugs I need help with....

    Does anyone know what these are and if i need them?

    Also does the sensor in here need to be used or can I leave it out?

    Turned out to be two relays in the wrong way round so it started today [:D] [:D]

    Big thanks to AndyOut who made the loom- Top top work

    Few bits and bobs to sort out now like DBW pedal, gauges, exhaust & oil cooler

    just well happy to hear it start up today

    Sensor in the plastic pipe is your MAP sensor,must go between I/C and throttle body although you can get an adapter to mount it in a different (hard) pipe.
    N75 goes into the TIP
    Pipes & gubbins look like they are for the N249 valve,can't see it fitted to rocker cover so probably not needed.

    Cheers I was so happy to hear it start first time, thanks for the advice and pointing me in the direction of AndyOut that wiring would have been a nightmare without his help

    Any need for you to be doing the work with your top off? lol

    Yeah I'm in Brighton, the car in the background is an '86 Mazda RX7 my mate is building a big turbo rota engine for it to 1/4 mile should be a bit of an animal, 450bhp is his aim.
