drawings show electric window consoles only, the non electric window consoles all have the cubby hole above the ashtray. ive never heard of deep/shallow versions though :)

I know that there are at least two different sizes, although I had never seen the shallow one until I got my 84.

    I'll measure mine at lunch

    Flipping Heck SSon.

    It's all off:

    http://www.wagenstad.com/index.php

These are all I could find listed. If there were special US ones, I believe that they would have US at the end, just like the G60 one has G60 at the end?

    3 191 863 241 AF center console 1
    08/83-07/92LN8 satin black

    (3) 191 863 241 P center console 1 G60
    c 08/89-10/91LN8 satin black

    (3) 191 863 241 AG center console for vehicles with electrically operated windows 1
    08/83-07/92LN8 satin black

So, who has got a photo of a G60 one?

g60 is shorter in height cos of the raised tunnel. G60 electric window console is rocking horse stuff :)

Please remove the 'sorry' from post #87.:o

    We are all still learning!

And some of us forget what we learned one day, the day after! (post #89)[8(]

The only reason I said Flipping Heck was cos. you keep running me about and I am too old and trying to make a cup of tea!

    Even RJ's still learning!;)

Can you measure the cubby on your 85 to see how deep it is?

A mate from the states got me the mk1 shift knob as a wedding gift

A proper worn Golf ball, with Audi 50 rubber boot.

I need a blanking plate for where the radio was.[:s]

Look at the seat material. It is black and beautiful.[:*:]

If only all VAG cars were fitted with this material. [:^(] 200,000 miles and not worn yet!
