Love the bunnies. And the purple dog. :)

Backgrounds are too messy for me, i'd get a neutral background with a colour that's a pleasant contrast to the colour of the pet. The second photo could do with the shadows lightening slightly in photo software IMO.

Mine - wondering how soon I was going to put the camera away and open the fridge, so he could look at the cat's chicken supper!

This is actually quite an interesting photo, as it uses a high colour contrast around the head and lower contrast round the body, to draw attention to the head. This isolation of the head of is mostly achieved with a narrow depth of field, where the head is in focus and the rest not, like Pascals photo.

Thanks, Sean :) I've just about forgiven him for demolishing the bottom half of the tree and decorations when I got up on Christmas morning!

Then I went into the kitchen to make myself a cup of coffee, to find that the cat had taken a short cut through a large bowl of trifle!!!! I had to cover the deep footprints with more cream, but I don't think anyone noticed

That cat of Pascal's is a stunner. Back in the 80s, I took part in the breeding program for colourpointed cats and bred some beautiful ones, but that deep blue eye colour was very difficult to breed true. I think his cat is a colourpointed ragdoll, and it certainly gets full marks for those lovely blue eyes.

Well here's Dave the cat, this is a couple of weeks after getting him from a rescue centre

And of course the psycho that is Cosmo

Jed, missing in action, he's to wild and lives out in the sticks somewhere these days

And finally a present from one of the cats
