Cheers Baz. It's made a nice difference to the black car. It seems to have less hesitation and rev much free-er now. It used to sound like you were racing everyone away from the lights when in fact you were barely tickling it, but it's much better now. I'm trying to leave the reviews to other people but needless to say that I'm happy :)
Funkyfive had already offered to do the dyno's when he did the 3" downpipe comparison but due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, that will not be happening now.

Liking the twin exit 2.75? But to me sits a fraction low against cut out, can this be altered easy enough through exhaust rubbers or can metal hanger be altered

Cheers. The additional backbox hanger can be shimmed up and down. The one on the black car is fitted without any shims (adding shims/washers under the rubber would make it closer to the bumper). The hanger is made with about 10mm adjustment up and down. Remember that the valance sits lower than the plastic bumper.

There's a bit of adjustment built in elsewhere to help with fitting. This should be a pain free fitting experience, especially if you're already running one of our downpipes.

That's what happens when you set about removing the rust from a twenty year old car.

    Thanks chaps :)
There was plenty of curtain twitching going on that day!!

Just thought it was worth adding that this will look equally at home on the small bumper cars, if not more so. The valance cutout is smaller than the plastic bumper cutout and because we didn't go overboard with the tail pipe size, it should look pretty good.

Gutted I've only just spotted this thread - just taken delivery of a jetex system.

So anyone fitted one of these then? I'm a sucker for something that's been properly engineered so if the verdict is good them I'd be tempted to sell on the jetex for this instead.

Fall into the same category as 'thegave', used to have a mk2 8v with a 3 box jetex but took the exhaust off as I thought it was too loud :o

This would now be going onto a 20vt - any results on noise levels?

More fitted pics and vids welcome [:D]

Typical! People are starting to take delivery of these now so we'll be getting some genuine feedback soon.
We should get a feel for track day noise tests as time goes by but I'll get mine tested asap.
I've just spent half an hour trying to put the sound into words without sounding like I'm trying to sell it. It'll be much better coming from a customer/potential customer.
My mate's all say that it sounds mint, but then they would, lol.
We're also arranging some before and after dyno figures within the next month.

EDIT; I'm buying some parts from a club member tomorrow. I'll ask him if he would mind giving his view on the looks and sounds of it.

If you hadn't already seen in Mathew's downpipe thread, I bought an entire system from him last week, and it all arrived for the weekend so brilliant turnaround, massive thanks to him.

Absolutely top piece of kit, the welds and quality is 2nd to none. Lovely and smooth on the inside too, which is what matters. Cannot wait to get it on the motor!

I had half an hour spare on Saturday so I decided to lift my exhaust a bit closer to the bumper.
    Before.
