    Slowly!...

There's stacks of stuff going on at the moment, from head testing, engine's & commercial development, and my fabricator is re-structuring his workshop, but as soon as I can borrow a car I'll be looking at options for sure.

    Hi Jason

I tried PMing this but your in box was full.

I am in the process of making myself a new gear linkage for a mk2, I have seen your lovely mk1 kit and noticed you supply a seal with yours that seals the connecting rod and fire wall, I was wondering what size the seal is because it may fit my application, this is assuming you would want to sell two seperetly?

If you don't mind selling them what size diameters are the fire wall hole and the hole for the tube?

    Many thanks Tom.

Ps I have been trying to source a seal for over 2 months but never seem to find one the right size. I have one coming in the post but feel it will not fit.

    Hi Tom

From memory the hole is either 50 or 54mm. The seal is actually a rack boot from memory..my fabricator uses them in other kits he makes. The inner end is sealed with in effect a thick nylon washer that fits snug over the rod.

In all honesty I've no idea what the boot is off...a hunt for a rack with an external diameter of the above size should be yr starting point....

Hope that's a bit of help...I'll try and measure one of the cars to get the hole size for you.

That's good help, I have looked at some mk1 boots I have in the garage but have managed to hold of something that may work quite well. Thanks Tom.
