Mk1 fitment 3" K04 style conversion downpipes.

    Will these downpipes fit a TFSI engine with K04 as well, would the turbo be in a similar position?

    In a word, no. The Tfsi turbo mounts the other way ie; the hotside points to the passanger side on the Tfsi.

    Any plans on making one for a Mk1 TFSI, what thickness steel do you use for the downpipes?

    None as of yet mate. You're the first to ask about them but if we can get an initial order of 3 (and a jig car!) we'll take it to the next stage :)
    We use 1.5mm wall thickness for our downpipes.

    Great news! We've got a car lined up for the beginning of December to re-work our 3" K04 downpipe.
    For those that don't already know, we did this downpipe about a year ago but the car had a Relentless V3 manifold, which we later found sited the turbo in a slightly different position, but it made a big difference to the MK1.
    We're expecting a bit of a rush on these so we're going to start taking pre-orders.
