Just updating my Jobs to do:
    • Extend the loom for the ignition amplifier
    • Run the battery cable and identify the place to secure the junction box and Battery
    • Install the engine for final loom position testing
    • Power it all up and check for wiring errors
    • braid the wires to protect them where possible
    • make new routing for wires
    • Wire up VDO guages
    • Install the dashboard
    • Secure all the cables in place
    • Fill with fluids (oil, coolant)
    • Run the engine, inspect and check for codes
    • Re-install the remaining interior
    • Re-install the remaining engine bay components
    • Buy and install a new front window - National Windscreens do this for £125 fitted if using the existing seal
    • install dash loom
    • Make a new loom for the guages so that the lights come on when sidelights are turned on but the guages power up from ignition live. They are all on Ignition live at the moment
    • set up VCDS for logging
    • install n/s driveshaft
    • Install o/s driveshaft
    • Remove / key the current inner arch Shultz and apply new black layer
    • Make new loom for Horn in the O/S wing
    • Install speedo
    • Install VDO
    • Connect Stereo Wires just incase
    • Install center consol
    • Install Vents
    • Install Elecric window Loom and make a live trigger for the relay
    • Check all brake connections, fill with fluid and bleed

See if Steve's windscreens serve your area, really good for price and service, or possibly Phoenix, was a while since used them.

Buy a heritage screen and fit it yourself? They’re super easy to fit.

well the wiring is all complete now.
    Speaker cables all in
Electric window loom in and on a 53 relay so its on a ignition live trigger to D/09 which is the electic window relay trigger

I have 2 litres of Raptor coming today so tonight i'll really begin stripping and prepping the inner front aches ready to paint that on. Going to use a coarse roller for appplication and then Schutz over the area when it dries. those front arches will be good for a long time yet.

Once thats done, its all pretty basic stuff like put the rest of the inner trim in and do a final check over every pipe clip and bolt that has been changed.

Its insured so will need to be MOT'd and then i can enjoy it before ripping some more of it apart next winter haha

I hope it does come in useful.

i'm going to start to document the BAM / ME7.5 wiring as i will want to change to that power unit and move away from me3.8 in time.
