To think they were selling for silly money Never that rare really I have a few mk1/early mk2 16v key blanks a few years back for a few quid It's only pill bit that was hard to get Think the light part number changed to a mk3 number could be wrong though Thanks for posting that link
I just did Dan if it's any good I'll get a few more You never know i may have a 16v that is road worthy one day lol
Well it turned up today overall it's very good The only thing that let's it down is the vw badge is not very sticky can see it needing some super glue to hold it on Hear is some pictures of it next to a new old stock vw one

Cool mine come Monday but I'm working away from home but looking forward to getting it cut on sat now :-)
Very good quality and mine come with the light for that money oh dirty fingernails only time there clean is on holidays lol They even have the HUF logo on them
Lol aye I did that if you look in my first picture As you said they have all the markings of the OEM one
Anyone tried to get one of these keys cut yet? Just that a while ago I was trying to get a genuine VW blank cut and no one would do it. Apparently if it’s made from the wrong steel it will ruin the cutting stone on the machine so they will only cut blanks that they supply. Now you would think they’re just trying to flog you their blank key but I got so desperate I even offered to pay to replace their cutting stone if my key ruined it but still would have none of it.
have a word with Mark Carter of classic-vw.co.uk, think he can cut keys now? few other guys on facebook too
