Abf problem, sometimes idles rough, especially while cold, sounds like rx7 rotary idle no fault codes, turning engine off and on sometimes helps. In vagcom mesuring blocks group 1 I get 0001001 next to adjust cond, this number changes, but never to 0000000 as it should be
0001000 = idle switch open, so check wiring to it and make sure the switch actually works. 0000001 = coolant temp under 80 degrees
So basically this means that my idle switch is always open? Where is it exactly located? And how do I diagnose it with multimeter if it works?
yep, its on the back of the throttle body and is part of the throttle stop assembly. make sure all the wiring back there is good, if its not been looked at its bropably backed hard and split back there. to test switch put multimeter across it, goes closed circuit throttle shut and open circuit open.
