Hey guys, so purchased a mk5 gti this month. The radio in it is the standard cd/mp3 radio. When I bought it the background lighting wasn’t working, the radio is functioning perfectly otherwise. I took the radio out today to fit a different one but decided in the end to leave the original one in it. When I refit the original, the lights worked temporarily but but have stopped now again. Anyone any experience with this, is this a common thing? Can it be resolved? Or is the radio just banjoed? Thanks, Neil.
