I don't understand why they would do that as it's still a means of creating revenue for VAG.
Let's face it if you're using the site you're more than likely wanting to purchase parts from the VAG dealers.

I read it too, on vagcat.
It seems far more likely that VAG threatened to sue them if they didn't take it down, and
they complied. Whoever they are.

Not sure whether it makes any commercial sense or not.
