Girling 54 and bbs rs 001

    i tryed some rs 001 on my mk1 today, but the bolts rubs against the calipter. I’m running girling 54 and 280mm discs.
    Any tips on how i can get them to fit?

    A small 3 or 5mm wheel spacer would be the easiest solution.

    If your trying to fit with brand new g60 pads then try pads from a mk2 16v. They are the same except have 4/5 mm less thickness of friction material allowing the caliper to close up just enough and should give the necesarry clearance

    Yes it’s new pads on it, i will try the 16v mk2 pads.
