Engine won’t tick over

    having a few issues with car, cars been stood a while, but I bought plugs, distributor cap and rotor, air filter, car fired up reluctantly and ran, and ticked over, but now a few weeks later I have to put my foot down to get car started and when I take my foot off accelerator revs drop and engine cuts out, then have to put my foot down again to start it and try to keep it running , cheers

    Vac leak? Stale fuel?

    Thanks Tristan, will check for leaks , will have to get someone to keep it running while I check, fuel is fairly new, will try to look tonight or weekend, cheers

    It's in the Haynes manual if you can source one.

    Hi bud just maybe auto choke not working properly
