   hi,I'm looking at replacing my exhaust for a stainless system my cabby is a 1982
   Some exhausts I'm looking at say ok for a tin top for 1982 but unsure about fitment for mine.
   Is the chassis same on both in 82.i think I read somewhere they changed a bit later than this.thanks.someone on here will put me right I'm sure.

   mk1 cab up to 83/84ish is basically the same underneath as a mk1 tintop, so a mk1 golf system will do you fine
