    Hi guys!

Ive got a MK2 GTI 8v I've been trying to get started.
When testing the external fuel pump I realised it was seized and I bought a new one from GSF car parts. It arrived and looks like a universal fuel pump rather than the smaller stock one which slots into the accumulator.

Is there any way I can use this pump or should I send it back and source one which will slot striaght into the accumulator?
Could I remove the accumulator and strap in the new external fuel pump?

I can attach a picture if needed.
    Thank you!!
    Sam

Sounds like you have bought a Digifant pump and your car is Kjet?

I seem to remember the kjet pump is like 60mm in diameter and the diji one is 46mm.
It is important the filter is changed the diji has push on hoses with clamps and the kjet has threaded ends for banjo bolts..oh and they are different diameters also.
