Hello all how would i install fog lights onto a 1989 mk2 golf 1.3 as i was looking to get big bumpers with fogs and make it look like a GTi.
The 2 pin plug for front fogs is there on all MK2 yep, yellow/white and brown wires near coolant tank. You'll need to do something at the fusebox to get them working right though, what you need to do depends on what fusebox it is. where is your hazard switch, dash or column?
ok CE2 fusebox, easy peasy. pull the grey/white jumper wire thing out of the fusebox relay slot 10 and tuck it away carefully, taping up the spade so it cant short. you could remove it from the headlight switch loom entirely, this is how factory GTI come. then you pop a 53 relay in slot 10 and jobs a goodun
